What we collect
- Account details — name, email, and authentication data, handled by our sign-in provider.
- Order details — the items you submit, your photographs, condition grades, addresses for pickup and delivery, and order history.
- Payment details — processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
- Contact form submissions — what you type, plus the email or phone number you give us.
- Basic technical data — the standard request information any website receives.
Why we collect it
- To grade your item and show it to providers so they can bid.
- To arrange pickup, delivery and return.
- To take payment and pay providers.
- To document condition at intake and return, so disputes have evidence.
- To improve the accuracy of the grading system.
- To reply when you contact us.
Who we share it with
- The provider who takes your job — your item's photographs and grade, plus what they need to complete the work. Not your payment details.
- Stripe — payment processing and provider payouts.
- Our authentication provider — sign-in and account security.
- Identity verification providers — for verifying provider businesses, not customers.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — who store the data on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your photographs
Photographs of your items are used to grade them, to show providers the work, and to document condition. We may use them internally to check and improve grading accuracy. We will not use identifiable photographs in marketing without asking you first.
How long we keep it
Order and condition records are kept for as long as we may need them to resolve a dispute or to meet legal and tax obligations. Account data is kept while your account is open.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete your account and associated data, subject to records we're required to keep.
- Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. Transactional messages about an active order will still be sent.

Children
Re•Store is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll notify you through the service or by email.
