The economics

We'll put the exact numbers in front of you.

Our commission and any membership tier are being finalised for the Chicago pilot, and we'd rather tell you the real figure on a call than publish one here and change it later. What we can commit to now is how it works.

You name the price

You bid the number you want for the job. We don't set your rate, and we don't undercut you with a “recommended” price.

The split is visible before you bid

Every job shows what you'd be paid before you place a bid. There is nothing to work out afterwards and nothing deducted you didn't see.

Your rate is frozen per job

The commission is locked onto a job the moment it's created. If we ever change it, work you've already taken is unaffected — permanently.

Why it's worth your time

The problem with restoration work isn't demand. It's scoping.

Most of the money a shop loses is lost before the brush comes out — on jobs described wrong, priced by guess, or argued about afterwards. That's the part the platform is built around.

You see the work before you bid

Six photos and a four-attribute condition grade land with every job. You're quoting on evidence, not on a phone call and a hopeful description.

You choose what you take

Every job is an open bid with a 24-hour window. Slow week — bid wide. Backed up — ignore it. Nothing is ever auto-assigned to your bench.

Scope changes are protected

Find something the photos missed? Request a re-quote with evidence. The customer has 24 hours to approve or the pair goes back. You never eat a job that was misrepresented.

You don't chase the money

The customer's payment is collected when they accept your bid and held until the pair is delivered and approved. Payouts run through Stripe.

How it works

Four steps to your first job.

01

Apply

The form below. Two minutes — we mostly need to know what you do and how much bench capacity you have.

02

We talk and verify

A short conversation, a look at your work, and identity verification. We're vetting for quality, not volume.

03

Jobs appear

Graded work with photos and scope. Bid, pass, or request more detail.

04

You get paid

Stripe payout once the pair is delivered and the customer has approved it.

Tell us about your shop.

We're opening Chicago first and taking a small number of shops to start, so we can actually pay attention to each one.

Email or phone — one is enough. We don't sell your details, and we won't message you about anything other than Re•Store.
